About the Band

- Spunk have been secretly brewing their own brand of rock and roll chaos for quite some time now, and now they're ready to unleash it on an unsuspecting world. Spunk Rawk approaches. Beware.

- Atomizer is the name of their debut CD. Recorded at the Nickel Soundworks in St. John's, and released by Winnipeg-based Crack Records in December 1997, it's seven steaming fresh slices of hearty Spunk. Enjoy with your favorite beverage. Or perhaps a tasty dessert.

- Spunk contributed an unbelievable cover of Great Big Sea's FAST AS I CAN to the COVER STORY compilation.... you simply gotta hear it to believe it!

- Look for a new record from SPUNK this summer!

Here's what "they" say about SPUNK....

"From the opening track - titled, aptly enough, SPUNK - the tone is set for fast-paced, frenetic, punk-inspired rock that reminds one of an ill-spent youth in England when punk was king." - the evening telegram, dec. 97

"A glowing testament to the glory of the tube amp." - the hour, montreal, jan. 98

"It's the type of album that makes you want to grab a guitar and jump around the room like a freak." - the newfoundland herald, dec. 97

"Newfoundland's SPUNK deliver a debut e.p. that puts most of what's being passed off as punk in the traditional hot spots to shame." - exclaim, feb. 98
